Ready to book is a management company specializing in short term rentals. They offer a total solution to make short-term rental property work including staging furniture, choosing decorations, equipping all necessary vacation home supplies, photographing, creating listings, managing cleaning and maintenance, and handling communications with guests. Ready to book reached out to me to build their first and new website that has an modern look and feel. Since this is a brand new website, the design challenge is the content creation, including logo recreation and the communication with the client requesting for assets, such as photography.
Design Process
• It started with the wire framing and logo recreation for the new website design.
• After the initial design got approve, I request the clients to provide me the content and photographs that I need to fill in the design of the website.
• Once I received all the assets I need, I spent most of the time on modifying the deign with provided content, improving user experience on the layout, and photo-editing.
• I added interactions once the design is finalized. As I have the control of customizing the entire website on Wix, I made changes directly on the website. There are global settings and customize settings for each page.
• Proof reading and making sure all the content are updated and consistent. I also added chatbot plug in to answer user simple questions or potential questions that they may have immediately.
• Be mobile friendly. Fit the design and content into the mobile view as well.

Results and Reflection
I am excited for this brand new website and honored to be the designer. It is my first time working with property manager and I truly enjoy working with beautiful images and properties during the project. The project was completed within 3 weeks, including back and forth communications, with simple features and interactions.
Through this project, I understand more about different types of the needs of users. For example, numbers, images, locations are the most important information in this case. Simple, clear, and easy to look for the information and be able to get the most out of the website in minimal time and effort is the goal of this project.
